Electronic News Gathering (ENG)
The B5808TR17ENG system includes the ENG transmitter,
B5808R receiver in a NEMA enclosure with power supply
and a single 17db gain dish antenna for the receiver. All
mounting hardware is also included. A DC power cable is
supplied for the transmitter.
This is a complete kit that includes a 5 GHz transmitter in a die-cast aluminum housing. The housing measures approximately 6" x 4" x 2".
An omni-directional antenna is attached to the top of the housing using a bulk head type N female connector. The omni-directional antenna is easily removed and the transmitter can then be directly connected to any of our high gain directional antennas. This makes the ENG transmitter very versatile for many applications.

Power is applied through a 2.1mm x 5.5mm coaxial panel connector. A DC power cable is supplied for the customer to connect to a source of 12 volt DC @ 500ma.
A red LED indicator shows when power is applied.
